We are excited to introduce new art, creative, and restorative workshops in Historic Biltmore Village, Asheville!

2026 CLASSES AND EVENTS
Artful Intentions: A Paper Quilt Collage Workshop (3hrs)
with Elizabeth Ward Schussler

1 to 4pm - Wednesday, Jan 28th
9am to noon - You can sign up for either or both and we will expand your project.
COST: $125
All materials are provided, with a choice of either a 12×12 framable canvas or an easy-to-carry journal.
Limited to just 10 participants for an intimate, supportive experience
OTHER MATERIALS: Everything you need is provided, but you’re welcome to bring inspirations, photos, photocopies. We’ll be working with paint and glue, so please wear appropriate clothing or bring an apron.
This workshop is designed for:

- Anyone wanting to quiet their inner critic
- Anyone craving creativity, clarity, and a positive reset
As a new year begins, you may find yourself carrying hopes, wishes, or quiet longings for what’s next.
Come create your 12″ x 12″ canvas collage (“quilt of intentions”). This process and leaves you with an artful reminder that you can see, touch, and return to throughout the year to help you create the days, activities, and outcomes that you truly want!
This workshop begins with a gentle guided reflection to help you clarify what you want to call into 2026. From there, we move into a playful, hands-on mixed media process where you’ll create a quilt-inspired artwork layered with colors, textures, words, and images. Think of it as an innovative alternative to a vision board – organized, intuitive, and tactile.
